FSN Rocky Mountain To Replay Big 12 Track Championship

NEW ORLEANS - The University of Colorado men's track and field team dropped one spot to 12 in the USTFCCCA rankings released on Wednesday.

 

LSU held onto the top spot in the poll with 291.64 points. Texas A&M moved up one spot to second (250.32). The Buffs are 12 with 160.56 points.

 

The Buffs are the third highest ranked team in the Big 12; also the third ranked team in the NCAA Midwest Region. Baylor moved up to 11 (167.80) and Texas dropped another spot to 13 (160.01).

 

Colorado started out the season ranked 21. The following two weeks the Buffs did not appear in the top-25 but they reappeared on April 23 and have not left the top-19. The Buffs have been ranked in the top 12 the last four weeks.

 

The Buffaloes will compete at the NCAA Midwest Region Championship May 30-31 at the Ed Weir Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.
