Buffs Set to Host Texas A&M

BOULDER ? The University of Colorado volleyball team will host Texas A&M University on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Coors Events Center.

The Buffs are currently 7-4 (1-1 Big 12) heading into this week of action. Texas A&M is 6-7 overall and 1-2 in the Big 12 after falling to No. 17 Kansas State on Wednesday night.

Senior Alex Buth leads the Buffs with 2.97 kills per set. TAMU is led by Mary Batis, who is recording 3.53 kps and ranks seventh in the Big 12. On a whole, the Aggies are averaging 13.41 kps, which is sixth in the conference, while CU is averaging 13.05 kps for seventh in the league.

The Aggies lead the overall series 17-8. The Buffs are 4-6 in the previous 10 meetings against TAMU. A pair of those wins came in 2006 when the Buffs swept the season series.
