Team Notes
-The Buffs used the same starters they have used since the Colorado State game on December 10th, 2009 against the Kansas Jayhawks.
-CU has used the same starting lineup for the 10th straight game (Tomlinson, Higgins, Dufault, Thorne II, Jackson-Wilson)
-Dufault, Higgins, Thorne II have started all 16 games this season.
-Ryan Kelley joined the Buffs at 16:22 in place of Thorne II and the Buff's had four freshmen on the floor at the same time.
-The Buffs went on a 10-0 run for 3:10 in the first half, building their biggest lead of the game 22-17 with 6:55 left in the half.
-The Buffs started the second half with the same lineup they started the game with (Buffs' possession)
-Three players scored in the double digits for the Buffs (Higgins, Thorne II, Dufault)
-Buffs allowed 18 turnovers, but also forced 18 from the Jayhawks.
-Buffs were outscored 25-12 on points off of turnovers and were doubled up 32-to-16 on points in the paint.
-CU held their biggest lead at 22-17 with 6:24 left in the first half. KU then outscored CU 17-5 to close the half and led 34-27.
-Went to the line two minutes into the game to put the first two points on the board for the Buffs.
-Over the last two games, Higgins has made his last 18 in row and 63-of-64 dating back to when he started his conference and school-record 45 consecutive free throws.
-Went 12-of-12 for free throws against the Jayhawks and is 102-of-119 this season at the line.
-Double figures for the 15th time in 16 games this season.
-Sixth 20-point effort this season (career).
-Higgins led CU in scoring for the 10th time this season (one shared).
-Higgins played the entire game for the second time this season (40 min); and third game over 40 minutes (ot).
