Track Hosts Front Range Classic Saturday

BOULDER - The University of Colorado track and field team will host the Second Annual Front Range Classic on Saturday, May 2 at Potts Field. The Buffs will host Wyoming, Colorado State, Northern Colorado and Air Force.
The meet will start at 10 a.m. with the women's hammer throw and the men's javelin. The running events are set to begin at 12 p.m. with the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase. The final event of the day is the men's 4x400-meter relay at 4:30 with an awards presentation to follow at 4:45.
Colorado State won the women's inaugural title with 183 points while the Buffs took fifth (43 points). Air Force won the men's trophy with 202 points. CU was fourth overall (58).
Parking and admission are free for the event. Results will be updated online on the schedule page throughout the meet. The tentative schedule of events for the Front Range Classic is listed below:
