Edelman Selected To NCAA Development Conference

BOULDER - University of Colorado junior Schylur Edelman has been selected to represent the Buffaloes at the NCAA Student-Athlete Development Conference May 24-27 in Orlando, Fla.
The Sterling, Colo. native is a middle blocker on the volleyball team. She will attend the conference which brings together student-athlete leaders from every NCAA school and puts them through a series of rigorous and challenging workshops and situational environments in an effort to foster personal growth and development as current and future leaders. The conference will take place at the Walt Disney World Coronado Spring Resort.
"It is such an honor to be representing CU at this conference," Edelman said. "I think it will be a great chance to gain valuable leadership skills and bring them back here to CU and make a difference."
CU named four finalists to represent the school at the conference and the NCAA committee selected Edelman. The other three nominees were Camila Belassi (tennis), Sione Tau (football) and Dwight Thorne (basketball).
