March 15, 2012 | Track and Field

BOULDER - The University of Colorado track & field team will host its first outdoor meet of the season, the Potts Invitational, this Friday and Saturday, March 16-17, at Potts Field.

The hammer throw and javelin will be the only events contested on Friday; starting at 2 p.m. Saturday's events will start at 11 a.m. and will wrap up around 3:45 p.m.

The Buffs return three All-Americans from the 2011 outdoor season: Joe Bosshard (5,000 and 10,000-meter runs), Emma Coburn (steeplechase) and Shalaya Kipp (steeplechase). Richard Medina was an All-American in 2010 in the 5,000.
