Colorado improves to 21-13, its best win total since finishing the 2003-04 season at 22-8. The Buffaloes will take on former Big 12 Conference Rival Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals, Sunday, March 25, at 11:30 a.m. MDT in Stillwater, Okla.
Colorado improves to 32-19 all-time in postseason play (not including conference tournaments) and 10-3 in WNIT games. Colorado has won at least three games in three of four WNIT appearances, advancing to at least the quarterfinal round in the last three (2008, '11, & '12)
Colorado improves to 22-6 all-time at home in the postseason, 8-3 in the WNIT, and has won 10 of its last 12.
Colorado led Villanova 16-15 at halftime. The 31 combined halftime points were the lowest in a CU game since 1978-79. The previous low was 35 - both 21-14 CU leads - at Pacific on Dec. 18, 2004 (CU won 45-42) and vs. Kansas State in the 1993 Big Eight Tournament (CU won 55-41). Villanova's 15 points marked its lowest halftime total of the season.
Colorado's 48 points are its fewest in a win since defeating Pacific 45-42 on Dec. 18, 2004.
Colorado held a 42-27 edge on the boards and has outrebounded its opponent 208-155 in the last five games (41.6 rpg to 31.0 rpg)
Lexy Kresl connected on her 60th 3-pointer of the season. It's the 12th time a CU player has reached 60 3-pointers in a season and she is just the seventh different player to reach that mark.
Chucky Jeffery recorded her ninth double-double of the season (19 points, 17 rebounds) and 19th of her career. Her 19 double-doubles tie her with Brit Hartshorn (1998-02) for sixth on CU's career list. Her nine this season tie for the seventh best season mark, recorded on seven previous occasions, most recently by Jeffery herself last season.
Jeffery's 17 rebounds are a career and team season-high, passing her previous best of 16 set against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Nov. 16. Her 17 rebounds are the most by a CU player since Jackie McFarland had 18 against Kansas Feb. 6 2007. It was also the most at Coors since Erin Scholz had 19 against (Southwest) Missouri State in the second round of the 1995 NCAA Tournament.

Jeffery leaped into 12th place for career rebounds at CU, now with 655. She passed Randie Wirt who had 646 from 2000-04.
On CU's single season charts Jeffery moved to 12th in points (519), 11th in field goals made (206), sixth in field-goal attempts (461), 16th in rebounds (268) and seventh in minutes played (1,112).
Jeffery had three steals, becoming the sixth different player to reach 80 steals in a season (seventh occurrence overall). It was her 35th career game with at least three steals, 14th this season.
