The battle of the best 3-point offense and 3-point defense in the Pac-12 went to the offense. Stanford hit 4 of their first 5 3-pointers and finished the game 10-of-21. Colorado had given up just four 3-pointers in 29 attempts in its first three Pac-12 games (.138).
Colorado's 77 points are the most scored against Stanford this season. The previous was 76 given up in the Cardinal's 76-57 loss to top-ranked UConn. Colorado's 77 points are also its most in the Pac-12 this season. Stanford's 87 points ties for the most CU has given up this season (Iowa). Jamee Swan recorded her second career double-double finishing with personal highs in points (20) and rebounds (13). It's the third and fourth time this season, and Kresl has two of those (Louisville). She has made 10 straight free throws over the last three games and 40 of her last 43 (.930).
Arielle Roberson had 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting. She averaged 20 points over the two game weekend and hit 66.7 percent from the floor (14-of-21).
Haley Smith made her first collegiate start, taking the place of Jasmine Sborov who was out with a foot injury.
