UCLA sweeps the regular season series and takes over the all-time series lead at 6-5. Colorado drops to 3-4 against UCLA as a member of the Pac-12 and 2-3 all-time in Los Angeles.Â
Colorado's 28 turnovers were a season high and the most since giving up a similar number against Texas Tech on Feb. 12, 2011. UCLA scored 33 points off turnovers as opposed to 15 Colorado points off 16 UCLA turnovers. In the first half, Colorado had 18 turnovers resulting in an 18-4 advantage in points off turnovers. UCLA also held a 10-0 edge in second chance points (off 14 offensive rebounds) in the first 20 minutes. The Buffaloes rebounded to outscore the Bruins on second chance points 15-8 in the second half.
Colorado outrebounded UCLA 40-38. The Buffaloes have been even our outrebounded their opponents in 18 of 22 games this year.

Colorado missed its first eight shots of the game as UCLA built an early 11-0 lead. Zoe Correal made CU's first field goal at 14:30 to end the drought. The Buffaloes rebounded to hit 10-of-21 the rest of the half (.476). Colorado shot 50 percent in the second half (13-of-26) to end at 41.8 percent for the evening.
Colorado trailed by as much as 17 late in the first half, but put together a 7-2 run to end the period and was down by 12 at the break (34-22). UCLA extended back to as much as 16 in the second, but the Buffaloes used a 20-6 lead to take a 61-60 lead with just 3:12 left before the Bruins ended on a 12-4 run. Colorado completely erased a 21-point first half deficit in the meeting in Boulder as well before falling just short in the end (90-84)
Lexy Kresl (13 points, 6 assists, 3 steals, 2-of-3 3FG) scored in double digits for the eighth straight game, extending a personal best streak. She now has 994 career points, just 6 shy of becoming the 27th player in team history to reach 1,000. It was her 85th career game with a 3-pointer and 46th with two or more. Kresl has made 24 of her last 43 from 3-point range (.558)
Jen Reese (8 rebounds, 4 points) moved into 14th in career rebounding, now with 625, passing former Big Eight Player of the Year Jamillah Lang (1990-94). She made just 1-of-6 from the field, a stark contrast from her career-high 30 point outing in the first meeting against UCLA where she hit 14-of-19 from the floor.
Lauren Huggins (9 points, 3-of-5 3FG) hit three consecutive 3-pointers in the second half that helped chip away at UCLA's 12 point halftime deficit. She had made just 3-of-15 over her previous four games.
Jamee Swan (17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks) led Colorado in scoring for the 10th time this season. She is just three rebounds away from 500 in her career. With her four blocks she has 26 over the last nine games (2.9 bpg). Swan now has 48 blocks on the season, eighth on CU's single-season list. She is also eighth in career blocks with 112.
Jasmine Sborov (11 points, 5 rebounds) Averaging 12.5 points over the last two games and recorded her first consecutive double-digit scoring games of the season and also first ever during Pac-12 play.
