Dates Announced For CU Summer Football Camps
March 20, 2015 | Football
BOULDER — The University of Colorado football program has opened up the reservation process for its popular annual summer camps, of which there will be three sessions this coming June.
Mike MacIntyre's CU coaching staff is offering three camps in 2015, starting with a Youth Skills Camp the mornings of June 10-12 (8:30 a.m. to Noon); these are available to any and all kids entering the first through eighth grades, with the cost $30/day or $90 for the three combined. This is a non-contact camp and its main purpose is to encourage participation in physical activity and develop skills and fundamentals associated with football.
Two Individual Camps will be offered on two different Saturdays in the month (June 13th and 27th); these are three-hour (1-4 p.m.) afternoon camps open to any and all entering ninth grade through those entering a second year at a two-year institution. The cost is just $50.
And on Sunday, June 14, the extremely popular High School 7-on-7 Passing Tournament is scheduled; it features round-robin play and a single elimination tournament, the championship game of which is played in CU's Folsom Field. Cost for participation is just $25 per player, with no size limitation per team, though players must be entering the ninth through 12 grades. Space in this camp is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
