Getting To Know: Stephanie Shadley, Volleyball

This week we are 'Getting to Know' sophomore Stephanie Shadley, an outside hitter from Lewisville, Texas.

Question: What have you and the team done this off-season to reflect and build off of last season's efforts?

Answer: I'd say going 100% each practice and making sure that what we do out of the gym is just as productive as what we do on the court.

Q: What can the team do to replace the efforts of the seniors that you lost?

A: I'd say having more options on the court and not only going to one person and having more variety on the court now.

Q: How did spring drills and practices go? What was the best part?

A: Being able to work on things in a lot more detailed way and working on specific things.

Q: What are you looking forward to this upcoming season?

A: Getting back on the court and working on stuff we learned this spring season and being able to apply it during the regular season.

Q: What team do you look forward to playing the most during the Pac-12 season? Why?

A: Stanford because they did so well last season. It'll be fun to play them again.

Q: What was the biggest adjustment you had to make last season coming from high school?

A: Probably having to change the pace of my game. Everything is fast, which is good, because that's the kind of player I am. I like everything fast.

· Favorite thing about CU Volleyball: The team environment and people pushing you to be the best that you can be

· Who's the best dancer on the team? Katelyn Cuff and Joslyn Hayes
