Abbie D'Agosta is our second freshman in our Getting To Know series. Learn about the defensive specialist from Windsor, Colo.
Question: Looking at the four non-conference tournaments, which opponent are you looking forward to playing most and why?
Answer: I'm looking forward to playing in the Big Ten/Pac 12 Challenge because it's an opportunity to play the top ranked teams in the country.
Q: The Pac-12 is always a tough conference to play in with many perennial powerhouses. Which team(s) are you most excited about playing and why?
A: I am excited to play all of them but especially Stanford because they are known for being one of the best in the country.
Q: Why did you chose to play volleyball at Colorado?
A: I chose to play at Colorado because of the great coaching staff and how nice the team was.
Q: What do you think is going to be the biggest difference between high school and college volleyball?
A: How fast the pace of the game is going to become.
Q: Who has been the biggest influence on you so far and why?
A: My teammates and friends because they push me to play hard and always do my best.
Q: If you could participate in another sport besides volleyball in college, what would it be and why?
A: Cross country because I love to run
