Letter from CU Head Coach Richard Rokos to Buff Supporters

Dear former members, parents, associates and friends of CU Ski team,
On behalf of current skiers and administrators, I would like to thank you for your attendance at 46th Annual Ski Ball. For a Ski Ball pictures, please see the link at the top of the page.
It was without a doubt one of most successful and enjoyable evenings in Ski Ball history thanks to you and the hard work of the Ski Ball committee: Bruce & Becky Gamble, Dale Pearson, Becky Hall, Sue Wristen, Joleen Mossoni, Lisa Van Goor-Bauers, along with Jodi Mossoni and many CU staffers that did their part to make this a special event.
On my personal behalf, I want to express appreciation to all former members, coaches and administrators of our CU Ski team for coming back to Boulder to support 2016 team. Our initial goal to raise funds to purchase a van and provide better and safer transportation for our students will be accomplished. We are looking forward to next season and hope for your continued support.
Please mark on your social calendar the evening of Nov. 25. The CU Ski Team is hosting the third annual Jimmie Heuga Classic at Eldora. We will be competing against a blend of world class skiers in spectacular format of dual slalom in the season opening event to honor Jimmie's perpetual legacy. The evening will include a pre- and post-race reception in the East Lodge. Details of the schedule will be forthcoming.
For long term social planning, please remember:
- End of season Ski Team banquet in April, hosted by CU Athletic department in the Stadium Club level.
- Bryan Sax hill climb, in end of July, semi-competitive bike ride in Aspen. Hosted by Sax family.
- Spencer Nelson hike in middle of August in Winter Park hosted by Peggy Smith and Peter Nelson.
- 47th Annual CU Ski Ball in Fall of 2017
