April 11, 2016 | Track and Field
BOULDER – The Colorado men's track and field team continues to move up the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll and is ranked 17th in the latest rankings.
The Buffs, who are one of five Pac-12 teams ranked this week, recorded 101.68 points in the computer generated poll. Oregon is ranked third (250.68), Southern California is 14th (110.97), Stanford is 16th (107.25) and Washington is 23rd (81.51).
The National Team Computer Rankings are compiled by a mathematical formula based on national descending order lists. The purpose and methodology of the rankings is to create an index that showcases the teams that have the best potential of achieving the top spots in the national team race.
Colorado has a busy week ahead with several meets in California. The Buffs will compete at Mt. SAC Relays (April 13-16), the Beach Pacific Coast Invitational (April 14), the Beach Invitational (April 15-16) and the Bryan Clay Azusa Pacific Invitational (April 14-15).
