BOULDER – Former University of Colorado standouts Andre Roberson and Spencer Dinwiddie are set to begin action in the NBA Playoffs this weekend.

Roberson and the Oklahoma City Thunder are the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference and host the Dallas Mavericks Saturday in a best-of-seven series. Dinwiddie and the Detroit Pistons are the No. 8 seed in the East and begin the playoffs at defending conference champion Cleveland on Sunday.

Roberson has averaged 4.8 points and 3.6 rebounds for the Thunder this season, starting in all 70 games he has appeared in. This will be the second playoff appearance for the third year pro. As a rookie in 2014, he saw action in two games during Oklahoma City's run to the Western Conference Finals.

Dinwiddie looks to make his NBA Playoff debut during the Pistons' first round series. He averaged 4.8 points and 1.8 assists in 12 games as a second-year pro, spending a portion of his season with Grand Rapids in the NBA's D-League.

Roberson and Dinwiddie played two years together at Colorado, helping the Buffaloes to the 2012 Pac-12 Championship and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances.
