Clark Named Pac-12 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

BOULDER – Colorado sophomore Erin Clark has been named the Pac-12 Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

Clark recorded an impressive outdoor season debut last Friday at the Stanford Invitational, clocking a time of 10 minutes, 0.77 seconds in the fastest section of the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Her time leads the Pac-12 and is the third fastest in the NCAA this season. Clark's time was just shy of her personal best, 9:59.67, which she ran at the 2015 NCAA West Preliminary Championships.

The Buffs are hosting the CU Invitational this Friday and Saturday, April 8-9, at Potts Field. Events on Friday will start at 3 p.m. and the meet will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
