Kelly Announces Fall Women's Golf Schedule

BOULDER – University of Colorado women's golf coach Anne Kelly announced the team's fall 2016 schedule on Wednesday, which features four events.
The Buffaloes are set to open the season in the Branch Law Firm Invitational, Sept. 12-13 in Albuquerque, N.M. The two-day tournament, hosted by the University of New Mexico will feature 36 holes on the first day and then conclude with the third and final 18-hole round on day two. The event will mark the seventh time in program history Colorado has played in the tournament and first since the 2013-14 season.
Colorado returns to the links the following week, Sept. 19-20 to play in San Jose State's Julie Inkster Invitational. The tournament is another 36-18 hole format over two days of competition. The Buffaloes have only played in the event on two different occasions and return to San Jose for the first time in five years.
In their third tournament of the season, the Buffaloes travel back to the West coast to compete in the Stanford Fall Invite, the weekend of Oct. 14-16. The three-day event includes one 18-hole round each day.
The Buffs conclude their fall season in Kona, Hawai'i for a third consecutive year as they are slated to play in the Pac-12 Fall Preview, Oct. 24-25. Colorado finished a program-best fourth place last season.
Colorado's full spring schedule will be released later this summer. The Buffs will co-host their annual Silverado Showdown with the University of Oregon, April 9-11 in Napa, Calif. before the postseason begins at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships, April 24-26 in Tucson, Ariz.
The NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 8-10 and the NCAA Championship Finals is May 19-24 at Rich Harvest Farms Golf Course in Sugar Grove, Ill.
