Buffs heading to Boise
Buffs in Boise For a Pair of Road Matches

BOULDER- The University of Colorado tennis team is hitting the road this weekend to Boise, Idaho to take on Eastern Washington on Saturday (11 a.m. MT) and Boise State on Sunday (10 a.m. MT). Both matches to take place in the Boas Indoor Tennis Center.
The Buffaloes are coming off a sweep of in-state rival Colorado State (7-0) for the 31st straight win against the Rams. CU has never dropped a match against CSU collecting 17 sweeps.
Colorado senior Nuria Ormeno Ruiz will play in the No. 1 spot for Colorado and is ranked nationally as No. 77. Jeannez Daniel, currently ranked No. 16 in the region, is second on the team with an 8-1 record. Junior Louis Ronaldson, playing in the No. 3 spot owns a 9-2 record this season.
Meanwhile, Boise State Broncos are opening their season against the Eastern Washington Eagles on Friday at 5 p.m. The current line-up for the Broncos has no seniors, but their incoming players were the No. 25 recruiting class. Additionally, All-Mountain West player Hanna Kantenwein returns for her sophomore season.
The Eagles have already played two PAC-12 opponents, Washington State and Oregon, losing both matches. Last season, EWU went on to the Big Sky conference Championships.
