- Cal drives to the Colorado 24 yard line, thanks in large to an athletic grab by Wharton down the Cal sideline at an awkward angle to keep the drive alive.Â
- TOUCHDOWN!!! Nick Fisher picks off Bowers' overthrown lob in the endzone and returns it 100-yard for a pick-6 score to all but seal the deal on today. Stefanou's kick is good, making it 44-21 Buffs with 2:34 to play. What a sprint by Fisher.
- Following the kickoff, Cal drives to the Colorado 34 yard line before finding Noa across the middle to get down to the Colorado 8. First and goal Bears.Â
- Bowers finds Wharton again for his third total touchdown of the day and second receiving. Play is under further review to see if foot stayed down in back corner fade.Â
- Pass ruled incomplete, 2nd and goal Bears.Â
- Bowers doesn't take long after the overturned call, finds Veasey for a 8-yard touchdown pass to cut the score to 44-28 with :50 remaining in the game. Expect the Buffs to knee out the clock with no Cal timeouts remaining.Â
- After a failed Bears onside, Colorado takes over at their own 48 yard line with :43 remaining. Victory formation is in place.
