Buffs Compete at the NoCo Challenge

Buffs Send Small Team of Throwers to Greeley
GREELEY, Colo. – The Colorado track and field team had a small group of throwers compete in Greeley at the NoCo Challenge on Sunday. Despite only sending two women and five men, the Buffs had a successful day on the field.
Here is a look at the Buffs that competed:
Elisa Grandemange: Elisa finished fourth in the women's hammer throw with a distance of 59.07 meters.
Mariah Walker: Mariah finished third in the women's shotput with a distance of 14.15 meters.
Aaron Haigler: Aaron finished the men's discus with a distance of 43.28 meters.
Brock Knechtel: Brock finished in ninth place with a distance of 44.34 meters in the men's discus throw and eighth place in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 49.12 meters.
Caleb Penner: Caleb competed in the men's discus and finished with a distance of 38.18 meters, and in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 49.17 meters.
Austin Swanson: Austin finished in fourth place in the men's shot put with a distance of 15.17 meters, and he also competed in the men's discus throw with a distance of 39.35 meters. Swanson finished sixth in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 49.21 meters.
Grayson Webber: Grayson finished third in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 52.17 meters, and finished fifth in the men's discus with a distance of 47.45 meters.
