Buffs Drop In Latest Lacrosse Polls

BOULDER — After falling 10-8 to the University of Denver on March 29, the Colorado women's lacrosse team dropped slightly in the national rankings. The Buffs (7-4, 4-1 Pac-12) are currently 15th in the Cascade/Inside Lacrosse media poll, 18th in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Poll and 20th in the NIKE/US Lacrosse Magazine poll.
The Pac-12 Conference has three teams ranked this week. Stanford, which is 9-3 overall and leads the conference standings (6-1), is 13th in all three polls. Southern California (7-5, 5-2 Pac-12) is 14th in the USL poll, 16th in the coaches poll and is 17th in the media poll.
CU will start begin the second half of the Pac-12 slate this week in Boulder. The Buffs will face USC on Friday, April 6, at 3 p.m. at Kittredge Field. Then on Sunday, April 8, the Buffs will host Arizona State at Prentup Field for a 12 p.m. contest that will be broadcast live on Pac-12 Network.
