BOULDER — For the second straight season, the Colorado Buffaloes (13-5) are heading to the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament as they will face Jacksonville (16-3) in the first round on Friday, May 11, in Gainesville, Fla.
Â
The winner of the first round match-up will play the host, No. 6 seeded Florida (16-3), on Sunday, May 13. Times for the games have not been set.
Â
The NCAA field consists of 26 teams. The first and second rounds will be played May 11 and 13, while the quarterfinals are set for either May 19 or 20 at campus sites. The final four will be played May 25-27 at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium in Stony Brook, N.Y.

QUOTES:
HEAD COACH ANN ELLIOTT
"We're really excited. We know that nothing is a given, especially since we did not get the AQ, but I thought we did a great job all season and we are excited to have another game."
Â
"We have actually watched a little bit of film (on Jacksonville). We do not know a lot. We played them four years ago. We know they are gritty, they are a tough team and they play hard. They are talented and have a lot of different players that can make plays. So, we will focus on that a lot tonight and we'll figure out that scouting report and what we need to do starting tomorrow to prepare."
Â
Junior Attacker Samantha Nemirov
"I think it's really exciting. Last year we got in, but we got out really quick, so this year we are looking for redemption."
Â
"I think it is awesome to go back to a place we are familiar with and we know the field and the atmosphere down there."
