Current, Incoming Buffs Fare Well At CGA Stroke Play

BOULDER – Incoming University of Colorado freshman Kelsey Webster placed third at the 2018 Colorado Golf Association Women's Stroke Play Championship Friday in Parker.
Webster, a Boulder native and 2018 graduate of Fairview High School shot 5-over, 221, at the 6,357-yard Black Bear Golf Club. She shot a 2-under 70 in the second round of the 54-hole tournament which tied for the low overall score in the Championship Flight.
Colorado Sophomore-to-be Jaclyn Murray tied for fifth overall at 8-over, 224. She was just one shot out of the lead after one round with a 73.
Senior Gillian Vance placed 11th at 14-over, 230.
Kristin Glesne won the title surviving a three-hole playoff against Erin Sargent after both finished the 54-hole tournament at 2-over, 218.
