Edelman and Simpson To Continue Professional Careers This Season In France

BOULDER — For many athletes, the chance to play their sport professionally is a dream. But for former Colorado Buffaloes, Nicole Edelman and Taylor Simpson, that dream has been a reality for the last few years and will continue to be a reality for the foreseeable future.
Edelman, a Boulder, Colo. native, will begin her third season as a professional this fall. The setter recently inked a deal to continue her career as a member of the Beziers Angels in France. Edelman has also played for teams in Switzerland and Spain.
Simpson will also be playing in France this summer as an outside hitter for SF Paris St. Cloud. This will be the Colorado Springs native's first stint in Europe, but her fourth professional season as she has played two seasons in Korea and one in Puerto Rico.
Being able to play professionally has been a great experience for both and they continue to represent the Buffs and the state of Colorado well.
