Weekly Spotlight

Redskins vs. Packers (Paul Richardson, David Bakhtiari and Mason Crosby)

Paul Richardson found the end zone for the first time as a Redskin on Sunday, hauling in a 46-yard pass from QB Alex Smith for the game's first score. On the play, Richardson beat double coverage on a post route and made a somersaulting catch inside the 5-yard line, before getting back to his feet to cross the goal line. His 46-yard touchdown is the Redskins' third longest of the season and is the longest by a wide receiver.

While Richardson finished the game with just one reception, he drew a pass interference call to gain 22 yards and a first down. The touchdown was the ninth of Richardson's career and his first since he scored as a member of the Seahawks during Week 14 last season.

David Bakhtiari continues to stand out on one of the league's best offensive lines. Bakhtiari played all 69 offensive snaps without surrendering a sack or committing a penalty. According to Pro Football Focus, Bakhtiari has been among the best left tackles in the NFL through three weeks.

Kicker Mason Crosby was also perfect on three tries during the game. He converted his only field goal attempt, a 41-yarder, and was 2-of-2 on PATs. With five points of the Packers' 17 points, his season total now stands at 28, tied for third-most in the NFL.
