Pregame:
- The Buffaloes (3-2, 1-1 Pac-12) are coming off a 35-30 home loss to Arizona. Oregon (4-1, 2-0 Pac-12) is coming off a 17-7 win over California.
- This is the first meeting between these two teams since 2016 when the Buffs came up with a 41-38 win in Eugene. That game was the debut of quarterback Steven Montez.
- This will be Colorado's third game against a ranked opponent this year. Colorado is 2-0 this year when playing ranked ranked opponents with wins over Nebraska and Arizona State.
