Buffs Prepped For Betsy Rawls Invitational

BOULDER — The University of Colorado women's golf team is set to compete at the Betsy Rawls Invitational, October 12-13, in Austin, Texas.

The University of Texas will host the event at 6,491-yard par 72 UT Golf Course in Austin. Teams will play 36 holes on day one, followed by 18 on day two.

In total, there are 15 teams competing: Baylor, Colorado, Denver, Kent State, Maryland, Miami, New Mexico, North Texas, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas State, UNLV and Yale.

Live stats for the tournament will be available at golfstat.com. A tape-delayed package will be televised on Longhorn Network at a date to be announced.

This is the fourth of five fall tournaments for the Buffaloes. In each of the three previous, CU has been led by a different golfer. Senior Kirsty Hodgkins led CU at the Trinity Forest Invitational, while sophomore Malak Bouraeda was the top Buff at the Cougar Cup. In the last tournament, the Molly Collegiate Invitational, redshirt sophomore Alisha Lau was the top performer for CU.
