#NFLBuffs: Thompson And Lindsay Lead The Charge In Week Five
October 09, 2019 | Football
It was a strong performance all around for our #NFLBuffs this week, with the biggest highlight coming from Seahawks safety Tedric Thompson.
Thompson made an early interception-of-the-year candidate against the Rams on Thursday night as he showed incredible focus on a tipped pass from Rams quarterback Jared Goff. Thompson added three tackles, two of which were solo, and one pass breakup to his performance helping the Seahawks defeat the Rams 30-29.
How did Tedric Thompson pick this?!

That might be the most low-key game-winning interception I've ever seen. Tedric Thompson may have sealed this for the #Seahawks.

Phillip Lindsay had a great outing against the Chargers, helping the Broncos capture their first win of the 2019 season by a score of 20-13. Lindsay rushed 15 times for 114 yards and a touchdown, adding four receptions for 33 yards as well. His four-yard run was the Broncos first opening drive rushing touchdown of the season.

David Bakhtiari kept his strong season rolling as the Packers offensive line helped pave the way for running back Aaron Jones' 107 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Mason Crosby was his usual self as well, as he went 4-4 on PAT's and 2-2 on field goals, with a long of 38 yards, helping the Packers defeat the Cowboys 34-24.
Isaiah Oliver posted six tackles (four solo) and also recorded his first forced fumble of the season in a 53-32 loss to the Texans.
