Pregame:
  • The Colorado Buffaloes (4-6, 2-5 Pac-12) remain at home after a bye week to host the Washington Huskies (6-4, 3-4 Pac-12) who are also coming off a bye week.
  • This is senior day for Colorado and they will celebrate their 17 seniors prior to the game. Those 17 players enter the day with a combined 477 games played and 158 starts. 
  • This game marks the final game appearance for Ralphie V as her retirement was announced. 
  • The Huskies lead the series by a 12-5-1 margin and have won the previous nine meetings between these two teams dating back to 1999. The Huskies are also 7-0 over the Buffaloes since the Buffs joined the Pac-12 in 2011. 
  • The Buffs need to win their last two games to be bowl eligible. The Buffs are taking on #7 Utah on November 30th in their final game of the season. 
Uniforms: The Buffs will be wearing black jerseys with gold helmets and pants.
Captains: Colorado captains for the night are senior QB Steven Montez, senior STAR Davion Taylor and senior P Alex Kinney. Honorary captain is Kordell Stewart, who played from 1991-94 for CU and is the Big Eight Conference's all-time leader in total offense. 
Coin Toss: Washington won the toss and deferred to the second half. Colorado will receive the opening kickoff and defend the north goal. 
Weather: Clear skies and 39 degrees. 

1Q: After a 13 yard Montez rush, a holding penalty pushed the Buffaloes back and they were unable to get another first down and were forced to punt. Punt from Alex Kinney went 62 yards and went out of bounds at the Washington 1 yard line. 
1Q: Washington began their drive at their own 1 yard line and were only able to gain two yards on that series and were forced to punt. Dimitri Stanley fair caught the punt at the Washington 38 yard line. 1st and 10 CU.
1Q: Colorado began their drive with good field position and moved the ball quickly with strong running. The Buffs were unable to punch it in however and had to settle for a field goal. Field goal attempt from Evan Price was good. Colorado leads 3-0 with 7:23 remaining in the 1st quarter. 
1Q: Washington began their drive at their own 25 yard line and moved the ball well, converting three 3rd downs and moving the ball down to the CU 11 yard line. Pass from Jacob Easen was then intercepted by Nate Landman and returned 21 yards to the CU 31 yard line. 1st and 10 CU. 
1Q: The Buffaloes have moved the ball down to the Washington 30 yard line. 3rd and 3 CU. End of 1st quarter. Colorado leads 3-0.

2Q: Colorado converted on 4th down due to a Laviska Shenault Jr. run. However, the Buffs would go for it again on 4th down and fail to convert. Turnover on downs. Huskies take over from their own 15 yard line. 
2Q: The Huskies failed to convert on 3rd down due to a Mark Perry sack. The Huskies were forced to punt and the punt was returned 8 yards by Dimitri Stanley to the CU 39 yard line. 1st and 10 CU. 
2Q: Colorado moved the ball well through the air and on the ground all the way to the Washington 1 yard line. The Buffs were unable to punch it in and were forced to attmpt a field goal. 23 yard field goal attempt from Evan Price was good. Buffaloes lead 6-0 with 7:18 remaining in the 2nd quarter. 
2Q: The Huskies began their drive at their own 25 yard line and could not move it down field. The Buffaloes defense came up with some big plays including a 15 yard sack from Terrance Lang on 3rd down which forced the Huskies to punt. Punt went 48 yards and was downed at the CU 40 yard line. 1st and 10 CU.
2Q: The Buffs got one 1st down but could not move the ball any more and were forced to punt. Punt from Alex Kinney went 38 yards and was fair caught at the Washington 7 yard line. 1st and 10 Washington. 
2Q: The Huskies could not get a first down and were forced to punt. Punt from Joel Whitford went 57 yards and was fair caught at the CU 28 yard line. 10 yard penalty on Washington. 1st and 10 CU from their own 38 yard line. 
2Q: With some help from some Washington penalties the Buffs were able to move the ball into Washington territory. Steven Montez then connected with Laviska Shenault Jr. on a 39 yard touchdown. Point after attempt from Evan Price was good. Colorado leads 13-0 with 1:32 remaining in the 2nd quarter. 
2Q: The Huskies moved the ball into Colorado territory but the Colorado defense came up strong on 3rd down due to a sack from Davion Taylor. This forced the Huskies to punt. Punt from Washington sailed through the end zone for a touchback. 1st and 10 CU from their own 25 yard line. Steven Montez took a knee to run the time out and send the game to halftime. End of 2nd quarter. Colorado leads 13-0.

3Q: Washington began their drive at their own 25 yard line and moved the ball well to get into Colorado territory. The Huskies then got some help from a CU penalty to move the ball down to the CU 1 yard line. From there they would get into the end zone from a Richard Newton 1 yard touchdown run. Point after attempt was good. Colorado leads 13-7 with 8:03 remaining in the 3rd quarter. 
3Q: On a drive highlighted by strong running from Alex Fontenot, the Buffaloes capped off an 11 play, 82 yard drive with a 2 yard rushing touchdown from Fontenot. Point after attempt was good from Price. Colorado leads 20-7 with 2:40 remaining in the 3rd quarter. 
3Q: The Huskies used a big 25 yard catch from Hunter Bryant to help move themselves into Colorado territory down to the CU 30 yard line. End of 3rd quarter. Colorado leads 20-7.

4Q: The Huskies got two fourth down conversions on their drive to help them move the ball down field. They capped off a 12 play, 75 yard drive with a Cade Otton touchdown reception. Point after attempt was good. Colorado leads 20-14 with 12:35 remaining in the 4th quarter. 
4Q: Steven Montez connected with Laviska Shenault Jr. for a 31 yard gain but the Buffs could not move the ball any further. The Buffs were forced to punt and the punt from Alex Kinney went 34 yards and was fair caught at the Washington 13 yard line. 1st and 10 Washington. 
4Q: The Colorado defense came up strong and forced Washington to punt. Punt from Whitford went 43 yards and was fair caught at the CU 34 yard line. 1st and 10 CU.
4Q: Washington forced a three and out from the Buffaloes. Punt from Kinney went 39 yards and was returned 52 yards by Fuller to the CU 37 yard line. 1st and 10 CU. 
4Q: The Colorado defense stopped the Huskies from going any further. On third down Mark Perry came up with another big 3rd down sack to force the Huskies to punt. Punt from Whitford went 49 yards and was downed at the CU 1 yard line. 1st and 10 CU. 
4Q: Dimitri Stanley came up with some big plays to help the Buffaloes move the ball down to the Washington 17 yard line. Montez then took a knee to run the clock out. End of game. Colorado wins 20-14.
