Registration Opens for 2019 Volleyball Camps

BOULDER – Registration has opened for the 2019 University of Colorado Volleyball camps which will feature five camps from June 24-26 and July 7 to 18.
 
Camps skill levels range from beginner to advanced and grades 3 to 12. Camps will be located in various locations on campus from the CU Events Center main court to the Balch Field House and Kittredge Complex Sand Courts.

Junior Buffs Camp


Dates: June 24-26, 2019
Cost: $225 (commuter only)
Grades: 3-6
Skill Level: Beginner
Times: 9 AM to 4:30 PM

The Junior Buffs Camp is designed for the beginning player looking to learn or improve his or her skills. Campers will be divided into groups by age and skill level while learning appropriate movements and volleyball skills in a fun atmosphere. Whether you are new to the sport or just want a refresher course on basic skill in a fun learning environment, this camp is for you!

High Performance Camp


Dates: July 7-9, 2019
Cost: $400 overnight/$300 commuter
Grades: 7-12
Skill Level: Advanced
Times: July 7 (1:30 PM to 8 PM); July 8 (9 AM to 7:30 PM); July 9 (9 AM to 3 PM)

This is an elite skills training camp. It is designed for the advanced player that has aspirations of playing high level collegiate volleyball in the future. The focus of training will be to prepare for the next level with drills and competition designed to refine techniques and enhance the overall level of the volleyball athlete. The world class coaching staff, cutting edge training techniques, and opportunity to compete against high level competition is only part of the fun.

Team Camp


Dates: July 10-12, 2019
Cost: $260 overnight/$185 commuter
Grades: High School Teams
Times: July 10 (12 PM to 8 PM); July 11 (9 AM to 7:30 PM); July 12 (9 AM to 3 PM)

A team camp like no other! This camp will help teams improve on all volleyball skill areas as well as team concepts such as serve receive, offensive and defensive strategies. We will offer multiple opportunities for team competition as well as offering significant team bonding activities to bring your team together to be ready for your high school season. Campers will also have the opportunity to dig deep and experience Boulder with a unique outdoor adventure!

High Performance Day Camp


Dates: July 13-15, 2019
Cost: $300 (commuter only)
Grades: 7-12
Skill Level: Advanced
Times: 9 AM to 4:30 PM

This is an elite skills training camp. It is designed for the advanced player that has aspirations of playing high level collegiate volleyball in the future. All Skills Day Camp


Dates: July 16-18, 2019
Cost: $340 (commuter only)
Grades: 7-12
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Times: 9 AM to 4:30 PM

The All Skills Camp covers all aspects of the game of volleyball with an emphasis on fundamentals. The techniques and skills taught in this camp are designed to provide a strong foundation that allows players to develop into high level athletes as they continue to play. All skills will be covered including passing, setting, hitting, defense, blocking, serving as well as offensive and defensive systems.

REFUND POLICY:

Every registration requires full payment.  Each camper will receive full refund at any time they cannot attend.

Health Care and Insurance:

All campers will be covered by a group accident policy provided by the camp at no cost. Camp insurance is secondary to the camper's primary personal insurance. A certified athletic trainer will be on site at all times during camp hours.

What to Bring:

All campers should wear gym shorts, T-shirt, socks, gym shoes and ankle braces if necessary. Please leave all jewelry and valuables at home. A more detailed list of what to bring for our overnight and commuter campers will be sent in our Parent's Guides one month prior to camp starting.

Facilities:

Camp will be held in the CU Events and Practice Facility, CU Events Center main court, Balch Field House and the Kittredge Complex Sand Courts.
