CU Ski Day Set For Saturday At Eldora

BOULDER—The University of Colorado ski team will host a CU Ski Team Day on Saturday, February 9, for team members, alumni and Buffalo faithful at its home resort of Eldora, just 21 miles west of Boulder.
The event is designed to be a fun day to meet and see the team in action and will be highlighted by a dual slalom event on the Chute race trail."After a hectic start to the season, this will be a fun day not only for all those attending, but the ski team as well," CU Coach Richard Rokos said. "This is where we train all and call home, and this is a great way we can reach out to the local young skiers community, so this will be a fun day."
The day will start with a dual slalom demonstration at 8 a.m. and at 9 a.m. there will be a kids dual slalom race with the CU Ski Team acting as coaches. There will be a group photo of all participants at 10 a.m. and then there will be a free skiing with the CU Ski Team before an autograph signing at 11:15 a.m. at the West Wing. A barbeque lunch will be available for purchase at the West Wing Lodge.
