Buffs Continue To Move Up In Rankings

BOULDER — With back-to-back Pac-12 Conference wins last weekend, the University of Colorado lacrosse team moved up one spot in the latest edition of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll, which was released Monday.

The Buffs, who are now ranked 22nd, recorded a 9-8 upset of then-No. 14 Southern California on April 5, handing the Trojans their first conference loss of the season and just their second loss on the year. It was also the first win against USC in Los Angeles for the Buffs. Then on April 7, CU defeated Arizona State 13-7 to improve to 6-1 in Pac-12 play. The Buffs are now 7-5 on the season.
Colorado has also moved into the Cascade/Inside Lacrosse and NIKE/US Lacrosse polls at 20th overall.

The Buffs have three games remaining in the regular season and will host Stanford and California this weekend for their final two home games of the season. CU will host No. 18 Stanford on Friday, April 12, and California on Sunday, April 14.
