Nemirov and Stinson Selected For Senior All-Star Game

BOULDER — University of Colorado senior attackers Samantha Nemirov and Miranda Stinson have been named to the roster for the 2019 Senior All-Star Division I game on Saturday, June 1.

A total of 44 seniors were selected to the team in each division (I, II and III) and were then split into two squads, North and South. Nemirov and Stinson will both play of the North.

The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. The Division III teams will play the first game at 11:30 a.m. ET, the Division I game will follow at 1 p.m., and the Division II teams will cap off the event with their game at 2:30 p.m. Admission for all three games is free. The games will also be web-streamed live on IWLCA-tv.com.

Nemirov and Stinson were both named to the IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region team earlier this week. Stinson, the 2019 Pac-12 Attacker of the Year, was named to the first team for the second straight season, while Nemirov was tabbed to the second team for the first time in her career. The duo led the Buffs in points, recording 146. Stinson tallied 64 goals and 16 assists this season, while Nemirov scored 51 goals and had 15 assists.
