Lacrosse Heads Into NCAA Tournament Ranked In Pair Of Polls

BOULDER — The University of Colorado lacrosse team is ranked 21st in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll heading into the NCAA Tournament this weekend. CU is also ranked 20th in the Cascade/Inside Lacrosse Media poll and is receiving votes in the NIKE/US Lacrosse poll.

Colorado earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, making its third straight appearance. The Buffs will face No. 18 Dartmouth in the first round on Friday, May 10, at 2 p.m. MT, 4 p.m. ET, with the winner advancing to the second round on Sunday, May 12, against the No. 2 seed and host, No. 1 Boston College. That game will be played at 11 a.m. MT/1 p.m. ET.

Two other Pac-12 teams advanced to the tournament: No. 13 Southern California and No. 23 Stanford. USC will face No. 17 Denver in the first round in Ann Arbor, Mich., while Stanford will face No. 7 Notre Dame in Evanston, Ill.
