Nine Buffs Named All-RMISA

BOULDER—A total of nine members of the Colorado Ski Team were named to the All-RMISA teams, the league announced Wednesday, including seven on the first team.
Mikaela Tommy and Stef Fleckenstein from the women's alpine team were both named to the first team. Â Tommy won five races and had nine podium appearances and Fleckenstein had one win, five podiums and 10 top 10 performances.Â

Filip Forejtek and Joey Young were both named first team for men's alpine. Â Young won one race and had two podiums and six top 10 finishes and Forejtek five podium appearances with three second place finishes. Â
Magnus Boee was named first team and Sondre Bollum second team for men's Nordic. Â Boee had three wins, five podiums and seven top five finishes. Â Bollum had three top 10 finishes and was at his best at the RMISA Championships, taking second in the freestyle race and sixth in the classic. Â
Anna-Maria Dietze and Anne Siri Lervik were both first team and Hedda Baangman second team for women's Nordic. Â Dietze has four straight top five finishes entering the NCAA Championships including one podium, Lervik began the year with four straight top four finishes including three podiums and Baangman had nine top 10 finishes including four top five performances and one podium, in the classic race at the RMISA Championships.Â
Lervik earned her fourth all-league honor and was named to the first-team for the third straight season. Â Baangman earns the honor for the third time and Bollum, Tommy and Young for the second time. Â
All nine will represent the Buffs at the NCAA Championships next week.Â
