Buffs Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS — Once again, the University of Colorado was well represented on the USTFCCCA Track & Field Academic Teams with seven women and three men earning a spot on the team for the 2020 season. In addition, the men's and women's team were named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

Noah Hibbard, Joe Klecker and Wyatt Rhoads were the men's honorees, while Abbey Glynn, Annie Hill, Dani Jones, Karina Mann, Avery McMullen, Makena Morley and Valerie Welch picked up the award on the women's side.

Individual athletes must have a GPA of 3.25 and have met either of the following athletic standards: for the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.

To qualify for the team award, the squad must have a team cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better. CU's women recorded a 3.384 GPA and the men totaled a 3.026 GPA.
