NFL Wraps Regular Season As Buffs Advance To Playoffs

BOULDER- The 2020 NFL regular season wrapped up over the weekend with seven teams featuring #NFLBuffs advancing to the playoffs. 
 
Regular Season Wrap-Up
Delrick Abrams Jr. (Atlanta) played in three games on the season on defense and special teams. 
 
Atlanta finished the year 4-12.  
 
Chidobe Awuzie (Dallas) played in eight games this season, starting six. He recorded an interception, five passes defended, a fumble recovery, and 38 total tackles.
 
The Cowboys finished the year 6-10.
 
David Bakhtiari (Green Bay) had the third Pro Bowl season of his career in 2020 as one of the league's best at his position playing in 12 games. He had 420 pass-blocking snaps on the year and only allowed one sack. Bakhtiari entered Week 17 as the fourth highest-graded offensive lineman in 2020, per Pro Football Focus. Bakhtiari also signed a contract extension in November that made him the highest paid offensive linemen in NFL history.
 
Bakhtiari's season was cut short after suffering what is believed to be an ACL injury in practice leading up to week 17. 
 
The Packers finished 13-3 as the first overall seed in the NFC, earning a first round bye in the playoffs. 
 
Tony Brown (Washington) played in one game on the season where he appeared on offense for four plays. He was a member of Washington's practice squad for the other 16 weeks of the year. 
 
Washington clinched a playoff berth with a 7-9 record and will face Tampa Bay on Saturday. 
 
Ken Crawley (New Orleans) played in six games in the 2020 season where he recorded an interception and a pass defended while playing on defense and special teams. 
 
New Orleans finished the season 12-4 and will be playing Chicago on Sunday on Wild Card weekend.
 
Mason Crosby (Green Bay) was a perfect 16-of-16 on field goals in the 2020 season which is the first time he has been perfect from field goals in his career. He also led the NFL in extra points made going 59-of-63 which was also a career high. 
 
Kabion Ento (Green Bay) spent the season on the Injured Reserve after suffering a broken bone in his foot in August. 
 
Arlington Hambright (Chicago) played in nine games in his rookie season and started one on the offensive line for the Bears. 
 
Chicago ended the season 8-8 and will face New Orleans on Sunday in the first round of the playoffs. 
 
Phillip Lindsay (Denver) totaled 502 yards on 118 carries and scored a touchdown in the 2020 season. The running back's season ended short when he was placed on the Injured Reserve before week 16. 
 
Steven Montez (Washington) did not see any action on the year, but dressed as a member of the active roster for the last three weeks of the season. He spent the rest of the season as a member of the practice squad. 
 
Daniel Munyer (Tennessee) played in three games for the Titans on offense and special teams in the 2020 season. Munyer was waived by Tennessee in November, but was re-signed to the practice squad. 
 
Isaiah Oliver (Atlanta) played in all 16 games on the season and was a starter for 12 games. Oliver totaled six passes defended, a forced fumble, one sack, 70 total tackles, 51 of which were solo, and four tackles for loss.
 
Devin Ross (New England) was a member of the Patriots' practice squad for the first five weeks of the season before getting waived in October.
 
Laviska Shenault Jr. (Jacksonville) played in 14 games and was a starter in 12 during his rookie season. The wideout recorded 58 receptions for 600 yards. He found the endzone five teams which was fifth-most amongst rookie receivers. Shenault Jr. also added 91 yards rushing on 18 carries. 
 
The Jaguars finished the season 1-15 and will have the first pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
 
Jimmy Smith (Baltimore) played in 11 games on the season where he started five. He had a pass defended, one sack, 27 total total tackles, 23 of which were solo, and two tackles for loss.
 
The Ravens finished the season 11-5 and will play Tennessee in the first round of the playoffs on Sunday.
 
Nate Solder (New York Giants) opted out of the 2020 NFL season. 
 
Davion Taylor (Philadelphia) played in 12 games in his rookie season which included a start on defense. He totaled ten tackles on the year and seven solo tackles. Taylor's season was cut short after being placed on the Injured Reserve in early December. 
 
The Eagles finished the season 4-11-1.
 
Tedric Thompson (Cleveland) played in eight games for Kansas City before getting waived and then signed by Cleveland. He totaled 13 total tackles for the Chiefs. Thompson has yet to have been active for a game for the Browns.
 
Cleveland finished the season 11-5 and will face Pittsburgh on Wild Card weekend on Sunday. It is the first time the Browns have made the playoffs since 2002. 
 
Josh Tupou (Cincinnati) opted out of the 2020 NFL season. 
 
Juwann Winfree (Green Bay) appeared in two games on the season playing on both offense and special teams. He joined Bakhtiari and Crosby as three players to play for Green Bay this season. 
 
Ahkello Witherspoon (San Francisco) played in 11 games and started four for the 49ers. He recorded an interception, four passes defended, 20 total tackles, and a tackle for loss. Witherspoon started the last three games of the season and during that stretch was second in the NFL in coverage grade, allowed a passer rating of 56.7, broke up three passes, and had an interception, according to Pro Football Focus 49ers. 
 
The 49ers finished the season with a 6-10 record.
