Colorado Back In National Polls Following Weekend Sweep

BOULDER — Following a pair of Pac-12 Conference wins last week, the Colorado Buffaloes are back in the women's national lacrosse rankings.

CU is 24th in the IL Women/IWLCA Division I Poll and 18th in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll.

The Buffs, 8-2, defeated then-No. 24 Stanford, 17-16, and Cal, 16-10, last week to wrap up the first half of Pac-12 play with a 3-2 mark. The win over Stanford snapped the Cardinal's 11-game conference win streak.

CU is one of three Pac-12 teams ranked in the polls. USC is 17th in both polls, while Stanford is 25th in the IL/IWLCA poll and 19th in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll.

North Carolina is the top team in both polls. The Tar Heels are 11-0 this season.
