Ski Ball 2022 Registration Now Open

BOULDER—Registration for the 51st Annual Ski Ball, set for Oct. 14 and part of CU's Family Weekend, is now open.
Dubbed "the greatest party in Boulder," the night will include a silent auction, paddle raise, introduction of the 2023 ski team among other functions.
The CU Ski Team has won 20 national championships in its history and through last season, has a nations-best 102 individual National Championships. The success of the program is ultimately due to the unparalleled commitment to the program by CU's many friends, fans and alumni.
A limited number of hotel rooms are available at the Omni Interlocken, where the event will take place. Also included in the weekend for CU Ski Team alumni are tickets to CU's football game against California on Saturday, Oct. 15, which is Family Weekend. Book your room early to ensure accommodations as a near sellout crowd has become the norm for Family Weekend.
"We have already made huge strides in upgrading our training facilities," CU ski coach Andy LeRoy said in a letter to supporters. "All proceeds from Ski Ball will be invested in skiing student-athletes, providing them with the resources needed to win NCAA Championships. Athletes of today want more than a degree and a piece of CU Skiing history, they are hungry to become professionals on and off the slopes. We need your support to provide this no-compromise pathway."
Proceeds from the Ski Ball go to the Ski Team Excellence Fund and directly impact improvements for the program. Last year's huge success of the 50th Annual Ski Ball enabled the Buffs to purchase a state-of-the-art Nordic Treadmill that will be installed in the Indoor Practice Field adjacent to the Champions Center. Improvements were also made at CU's alpine training hill at Eldora.
The excellence fund will also enable the program to upgrade its facility, the Bryan Sax Ski Team Building, on CU's east campus. Immediate improvements include the installation of a new fueling station and a new video viewing area. The fueling station will enable the Buffs to stay fueled before early morning training sessions at Eldora and other locations while the video viewing area will enable enhance coaching opportunities and the ability to watch training video in a better atmosphere.
