Track and Field Announces 2023-24 Schedule

BOULDER - The University of Colorado track and field program announced the 2023-24 schedule on Thursday, highlighted by the Buffs hosting the outdoor Pac-12 Championships for the very first time in May.

"This will be a rare track season, as we will host the Pac-12 Championship in middle May, head coach Mark Wetmore stated. "While we always want to be at our best for the conference meet, no doubt there is another level of excitement when we host."

"And we will be on a brand new track by then, another reason to look forward," Wetmore went on to say. "We have, though, been without an outdoor track for quite a while, so we have some catching up to do, once the facility is finished and we can get back in it. We can't wait!"

Colorado will be hosting five home meets this season. Two indoor meets will take place in Boulder including the Potts Invitational on Jan. 12-13 and the CU Invitational on Feb. 2-3.

The Buffs will start their outdoor season in Boulder with the Jerry Quiller Classic on March 15-16. Their next home meet, the CU Invitational, will be on April 5-6. Approaching the end of the outdoor season, Colorado will host the Pac-12 Championships on May 10-12.

The Buffs kick off the season tomorrow and this weekend with meets at the Colorado School of Mines and Boston University. The full schedule can be seen here and below. The schedule is tentative and subject to change.
