BOULDER – The Colorado Buffaloes Tennis team falls to 6-3 after losing to Nebraska 4-1 on Friday in Lincoln, Nebraska.

How it Happened
- The action got started at No. 2 doubles with a 6-2 victory for Nebraska from Isabel A. Gallego and Anfisa Danilchenko against Mila Stanojevic and Elys Ventura.
- Colorado then got the first win of the afternoon at No 3 doubles from Ellen Puzak and Betina Tokac 7-5 over Lucy Loy and Ana C. Zamburek.
- Nebraska was able to secure the doubles point at No. 1 doubles in a tiebreaker 7-6 (3) from Samantha Alicea and Raphaelle Lacasse over Antonia Balzert and Anya Nelson.
- The Buffs tied the match up early on in singles with a dominating 6-1, 6-1 victory from Senior Antonia Balzert over Ana C. Zambarek.
- The Cornhuskers Jillian Roa retook the lead at No. 5 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 victory freshman Carri Hayes.
- Nebraska extended the lead very quickly with at No. 3 singles with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Mila Stanojevic.
- Lucy Loy clinched the match for Nebraska at No. 6 singles with a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Ellen Puzak.
- No. 2 and No. 4 singles were left unfinished after the match was clinched.
- Freshman Anya Nelson got her first action this spring at No. 1 doubles with partner Antonia Balzert.
- Colorado was without No. 1 doubles and No. 4 singles player Aya El Sayed.
