QuotesÂ
CU Coach Anthony Pham
"I was really happy with the team victory. Credit to Wyoming because I think they took it to us in doubles and they were the more aggressive team and but we did a good job in singles. I don't think we neccesarily played great but that's credit to Wyoming, but we hung in there and we persevered. When you're not playing good tennis, you have to compete you got to battle. As a team I thought we did a good job of that today."
"At the end of the day, you're happy to get a victory anyway you can. Obviously as a coach you would love for your players to all get through a match as straightforward as Betina's us but that's rarely the case. Betina Tokac played well today. Elys Ventura did a great job. She dropped the first set and she came back and rolled the second the third set. It was a big step for her and a big step for the team. Mila Stanojevic also did a great job, and once again Aya did a good job closing the match. So today overall, it was a team effort. Even for those who didn't play they did a great job being up and supporting the team doing their jobs. So, it was a complete team effort today."
Betina Tokac
"Overall, it was really good because we managed to win almost all of the singles matches. We started a little bit restricted for doubles, but then we managed to win the singles and that was the most important thing."
"We're playing against Oregon, I'm so excited to play against them because they're in the Pac-12 as well and they're our enemy as well. So, I hope we're going to win as we did today."
