Colorado Closes Road Trip in Tahoe: Five Things to Know

CU takes on Nevada from Lake Tahoe
STATELINE, Nev. – Colorado looks to bounce back from its first loss of the year when it returns to the court Tuesday night. The Buffaloes will matchup against Nevada in the first-ever Tahoe Tip Off at the Tahoe Blue Events Center (8 p.m. MT).
Colorado (2-1) is coming off a three-point loss to Boise State on Sunday. Jade Masogayo led the Buffs with 13 points and seven rebounds. Colorado had three more made baskets than BSU but only totaled 47 points. Defensively, the Buffs forced 15 takeaways and 25 total Boise State turnovers.
Nevada (1-1) took down Bushnell 70-48 last Friday. Kennedy Lee posted 17 points off the bench in the win. The Wolf Pack ranked second in the Mountain West, averaging 34.5 points off the bench.

- Vs. MWC – Tuesday is the third Mountain West opponent the Buffs will face in four games. Colorado is 1-1 against the conference with its opening-night win in Wyoming.
- Streak Snapped – Colorado had its 125-game streak with a made 3-pointer snapped at Boise State. The Buffs went 0-for-17 from behind the arc. CU has struggled from behind the 3-point line this season, hitting just 8-for-47 (.170).
- November Success – Colorado is 48-5 under head coach JR Payne in November. CU's loss at Boise State was its earliest in the year since losing game four of the 2022-23 season at Texas Tech.
- 50-59 – Colorado's loss at Boise State was just the eighth Payne when allowing opponents between 50-59 points.
- Vs. Nevada – Tuesday will be the fourth meeting between Colorado and Nevada. CU is 2-1 against the Wolf Pack, having won the last two games.
