BOULDER — Former Buff Megan Hart became a league champion this past week with her pro club team, Olympias Neapolis Volleyball.
The team is based out of Nicosia, Cyprus in the Republic of Cyrus. The team is now back-to-back league champions after also claiming the 2023 title.
Hart had a very successful collegiate career in Boulder, tallying 812 kills and 418 total blocks. Her .350 hit percentage in her four-year career is the all-time program record, which broke the previous record of .334 set by Naghede Abu, from 2015-18. The 418 blocks rank sixth all-time, and fourth in the rally scoring era.
The Buffs currently boast 10 players who are currently on a pro roster, most recently Skyy Howard who joined CSO Voluntari. Hart became the 21st CU player following the 2022 season, to turn pro after their collegiate career.
