Buffs host Washington and Washington State
BOULDER – The No. 13 Colorado women's basketball team looks to get back in the win column when it returns home to the CU Events Center for the final week of the regular season. The Buffaloes will host Washington (Thursday) and Washington State (Saturday) to wrap up the week that started on the road at UCLA on Monday.
Colorado (20-7, 10-6 Pac-12) has dropped its last four games, all against top-25 opponents. The current winless streak is the longest the Buffs have had to endure since losing four straight from Jan. 14-23, 2022. All four of the losses have been games decided by eight points or less.
Washington (15-12, 5-11 Pac-12) swept the Oregon schools at home last week for the second consecutive season. The 10-point win over then No. 9 Oregon State was its first double-digit win in Pac-12 play this season. The Huskies are 3-6 this season against AP-ranked opponents and are currently situated 10th in the conference standings.
Washington State (17-12, 6-10 Pac-12) snapped a five-game home-losing streak with a 71-61 win over Oregon last Sunday. The win guaranteed WSU a winning record on the season, marking the first time WSU has had three consecutive winnings seasons since 1976-77 to 1978-79.

- Senior Sendoffs – Saturday's game against WSU will be the final regular season home game for six CU players. The team will honor Sophie Gerber, Maddie Nolan, Tameiya Sadler, Charlotte Whittaker, Quay Miller and Sherrod in a postgame ceremony.
- All-Time Starts – Sherrod will become CU's all-time leader in games started with two more starts this season. She enters the final two games with 126 career starts. She will presumably tie Erin Scholz, Shelley Sheetz and Brittany Spears on Thursday and surpass the trio on Saturday.
- Offensively Inclined – Colorado is averaging 76.0 ppg this season. It is the highest scoring average under head coach JR Payne and its best since scoring 76.1 ppg in the 2001-02 season. The Buffs are averaging 80.0 ppg in their 20 wins this season.
