Buffs Finish Competition at Battle In The Bay Classic

El Sayed and Stanojevic leave the weekend with a combined five victories in singles and doubles
SAN FRANCISCO – The Colorado Buffaloes tennis team finished it's first weekend of competition in the fall season, with Aya El Sayed and Mila Stanojevic earning two doubles victories and a combined three singles wins.
The pair started the morning off in the doubles consolation finals against opponents Tomi Main and Yu-Chin Tsai of TCU. El Sayed and Stanojevic brought the match to a tiebreaker, but fell short in the end, finishing the match 10-8 in favor of TCU.
Stanojevic finished the day for the Buffs in singles competition. Stanojevic faced Main once again, and led the match to another tie breaking set.
After capturing the second set, Stanojevic kept close to Main, but ultimately fell in the tiebreaker, 10-8.
Up Next
The Buffs will continue fall competition next weekend at the Baylor Invite in Waco, Texas.
