Colorado Close to Home for Weekend of Competition

October 22, 2025 | Tennis

BOULDER – The University of Colorado women's tennis team continue in its fall competition this weekend, heading to Denver for the Pioneer Hidden Dual Tournament.

Colorado will join Denver, Wyoming, and Weber State for three days of competition at the Denver Tennis Park, Oct. 24-26th.

The Buffs currently hold a 34-18 record over the Pioneers, with 11 wins on Denver's courts.  Their last match up was earlier this year for Colorado's home opener, when the Buffs defeated DU, 5-2.

With a short history against Wyoming, the Buffs are looking to add to their 4-1 record over the Cowboys. The last dual resulted in a 4-0 shutout over Wyoming in 2022.

The Buffs haven't faced Weber State since 1996, when they held a six-match win streak outscoring the Wildcats 32-16.

Colorado is expected to begin at 11 a.m. (MT) Friday and Sunday, and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
