November 21, 2025 | Football
BOULDER — Colorado football will take to Folsom Field for the final time in 2025, hosting Arizona State (6 p.m. MT). The game will be the team's final home farewell to its 34 seniors.
Saturday will be the 15th meeting between the Buffs and Sun Devils. The two teams didn't play in 2024, making Saturday's contest the first as Big 12 Conference members. Colorado took the last meeting back on Oct. 7, 2023, 27-24. ASU holds a six-game advantage in the series, 10-4, and is also 4-2 against the Buffs in Boulder.
Colorado (3-7, 1-6 Big 12) has had three players surpass 1,000-yard career barriers. At West Virginia, both Omarion Miller and Joseph Williams hit the 1,000-yard receiving mark, while Dallan Hayden hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark against Arizona.

Five Things to Know
- ASU Trends: Colorado enters the matchup 4–10 all-time against Arizona State, but the series has shifted in recent years. After dropping the first seven meetings, the Buffs have won four of the last seven dating back to 2016. This is also just the second CU–ASU game ever on ESPN/ESPN2; the previous 10 aired on Pac-12 Network or ESPNU.
- Juju's Big Start: True freshman quarterback Julian Lewis delivered one of the best freshman debuts in CU history, throwing for 299 yards, 2 TDs and no interceptions at West Virginia. His yardage total ranks second-most by a CU true freshman in a first start. For the season, he's at 428 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, while completing 58.9 percent of his passes.
- Omarion Miller: WR Omarion Miller is one of the Big 12's hottest receivers, posting 131 yards and a TD at WVU for his first 100-yard game of 2025. Over his last five outings, he has 23 receptions for 452 yards and six touchdowns, recently surpassing 1,100 career receiving yards while emerging as CU's top explosive-play threat.
- Tough Slate: According to the NCAA, Colorado has played the No. 8 schedule nationally, the toughest in the Big 12, with opponents combining for a 59–32 (.648) record.
- D Returning to Form: Colorado's defense has produced five turnovers in the last two games, marking its first back-to-back multi-takeaway stretch of the season. Over the last four games, CU has also logged eight or more QB hurries or pass breakups in three of them.
