Buffs Open 2025 Season at Wyoming Invite

BOULDER – The University of Colorado cross country team will open the 2025 season at the Wyoming Invite on Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Little America Golf Course in Cheyenne, Wyo.

Date/Time: Saturday, Aug. 30 | Women's 5K: 9 a.m. | Men's 5K: 9:30 a.m.
Location: Little America Golf Course | Cheyenne, Wyo.

Colorado will line up against host Wyoming, Colorado State and Northern Colorado. CU enters the season as the only ranked program in the field, with the men slotted No. 13 and the women No. 24 in the USTFCCCA preseason coaches poll. Wyoming received two votes in the men's poll.

A total of 12 Buffaloes are scheduled to compete in the opener:

Women (6): Holly Barker, Georgia Bell, Ella Hagen, Sierra Parks, Olivia Sheridan, Linda Weigang
Men (6): Dean Casey, Drew Costelow, Isaiah Givens, Jake Liebert, James Overberg, Grady Rauba

The Buffs will head west to Grand Junction for the Gig Leadbetter Stampede, hosted by Colorado Mesa at Lincoln Park, on Friday, Sept. 5, with racing set to begin at 6 p.m.
