Tragarz Posts No. 4 All-Time Mark at Jack Christiansen Invitational

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado track and field competed over two days Friday and Saturday at the Jack Christiansen Invitational in Fort Collins, highlighted by Danny Tragarz's No. 4 all-time mark in the 400-meter hurdles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Tragarz delivered the top performance of the meet for the Buffs, winning the 400-meter hurdles in 50.37. His time ranks No. 4 in program history, just behind CU alum Cole Romig's mark of 50.36, and currently sits No. 6 in the NCAA this season.
Colorado saw early success in the distance events, where Linda Weigang led a strong showing in the women's 5000 meters. Weigang surged late to take the win in 17:27.57, while Beana Winchell and Georgia Bell followed to complete a 1-2-3 finish for the Buffs.
On the track, the men's 4x400-meter relay team of Luke Dry, Nick Gehring, Joran Ball and Teagan Malcom closed out the meet with a win, crossing in 3:16.44.
Next up, Colorado's distance squad will compete at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto on April 3–4, while the Buffs will host the Jerry Quiller Classic in Boulder on the same dates.
